Meet Our Missionaries
Stephen was pastor of EWS for 3 years before returning to his native Newfoundland. There, he is an elder in his local church and works with Mile One Mission, a church-planting organisation. One of Stephen’s roles is as a mentor for church planters studying theology in a Union learning community. Find out more about Mile One Mission here and Union learning communities here.
We hope to train all our members to be disciple-making disciples, wherever we are. When they leave Korea and return to their own countries (or go on elsewhere), we want to send them out as strong and faithful servants of Jesus Christ. To fit with this, we also pray for and financially support several of our former members who are involved in projects around the world that share our vision of 'Knowing Jesus & Showing Jesus'.
Crystal lectured in English at a University in Cheongju and was a member of EWS for 2 years. Using her language skills and her passion for God's Word, she now works as a Bible translator with Wycliffe in Papua New Guinea. She co-ordinates her translation team, equipping local people to translate the Bible for themselves. Find out more about Crystal's work with Wycliffe here.
